بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم — In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Ijma Wallet is self-custody software. We do not hold, control, or have any access to your funds. You are solely responsible for your seed phrase, your private keys, and any transactions you make. If you lose your seed phrase, your funds cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ijma Wallet software application ("Ijma", "the App", "the Software"), the website at ijmawallet.com ("the Website"), and any associated documentation, source code, or services provided by Blockchainology Ltd ("we", "us", "our", "Blockchainology"), a company registered in England and Wales.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Ijma Wallet, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
These Terms do not constitute a financial services agreement, a money transmission agreement, or any form of custodial relationship. We are a software company. We provide software. We do not provide financial services.

Ijma Wallet is not:
When you use Ijma Wallet to broadcast a Bitcoin transaction, you are communicating directly with the Bitcoin peer-to-peer network. Blockchainology is not a party to any transaction you make. We have no ability to reverse, cancel, or modify any transaction once broadcast.
Using a self-custody wallet means you — and only you — control your funds. This is a fundamental feature, not a bug. It means no bank can freeze your account, no company can prevent you from transacting, and no third party can access your money without your authorisation. It also means:
The Ijma Wallet source code is released under the MIT Licence, a copy of which is available in the source repository at github.com/amisatoshi/ijmawallet.
The MIT Licence grants you broad permissions to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the conditions stated in the licence. You do not need our permission to fork, modify, or redistribute the source code.
The name "Ijma Wallet", the "Ijma" brand, and the Blockchainology brand are not covered by the MIT Licence. You may not use these names to imply endorsement or affiliation without our written permission.
You acknowledge and accept the following risks. These are genuine, material risks — not legal boilerplate. Please read them.
You agree that you will not use Ijma Wallet:
You confirm that you are using this Software for lawful purposes only. You are solely responsible for compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including any tax obligations arising from your use of Bitcoin.
Nothing in the Ijma Wallet Software, the Website, the documentation, or any communication from Blockchainology constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The inclusion of any reference to Bitcoin, Lightning Network, ecash, or any other protocol in the Software does not constitute a recommendation to invest, trade, or otherwise engage with these technologies.
You should seek independent professional advice before making any financial decisions. The Software is provided as a technical tool. Its existence does not imply that using it is appropriate for your financial situation.
References to Shariah compliance or halal status in the Software and Website reflect our good-faith analysis and do not constitute a formal Islamic finance fatwa or certification. We recommend consulting a qualified Islamic finance scholar for your specific circumstances.
Ijma Wallet connects to third-party public APIs to provide price data, fee estimates, and block explorer functionality. By default, these include Mempool.space, CoinGecko, and public Nostr relays. You can change these in Advanced Settings.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. Your use of third-party services connected through Ijma is subject to those terms.
When connecting to a third-party block explorer or price feed, your IP address and the query parameters (such as Bitcoin address lookups) may be visible to those services. For maximum privacy, use a self-hosted explorer or enable Tor routing in Advanced Settings.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BLOCKCHAINOLOGY MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, FREE FROM VULNERABILITIES, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain the Software and address known security issues, but we cannot guarantee the absence of vulnerabilities in open-source software or the underlying protocols.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BLOCKCHAINOLOGY, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF FUNDS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
In particular, we accept no liability for:
If any limitation of liability in these Terms is found to be unenforceable under applicable law, our total liability shall be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blockchainology, its directors, employees, and contributors from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Software, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the Software at any time without notice. Because Ijma is open-source software, any previous version will always remain available in the GitHub repository at github.com/amisatoshi/ijmawallet.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at ijmawallet.com/terms. The date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made. Continued use of the Software after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
For material changes, we will post a notice on the Website and in the GitHub repository.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Software shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Before initiating any formal dispute, we encourage you to contact us at ijma@blockchainology.co.uk to attempt to resolve the matter informally. Most issues can be resolved this way.
